MONSTERFEST

Early October 2020, PIROUETTE was officially selected by MonsterFest. Which was incredible news for us, as MonsterFest was the key festival we had in mind during the days of pre-production.

VICIOUS FUN

Soon after, Grant Hardie, the Director of MonsterFest, informed us that PIROUETTE would open for the Australian premiere of Vicious Fun directed by Cody Calahan (The Oak Room, The Drownsman, Let her out).

CINEMA NOVA

With confirmation of four different 4k screenings with 7.1 surround we immediately contacted Cinema Nova to arrange a test screening. Unfortunately, due to the COVID-19 lockdown, it couldn't be arranged. Nonetheless, we were touched by the efforts they made to assist us.

EVENT CINEMAS

On Halloween, PIROUETTE premiered with Vicious Fun at Event Cinemas in Adelaide, Brisbane, Perth and Sydney.

STTP BEST HORROR AWARD

Soon after, PIROUETTE won the Short To The Point film festival's Best Horror Award and then we recieved more great news...

MONSTERFEST MELBOURNE

COVID-19 restrictions had been eased! MonsterFest and Cinema Nova were open for business.

CINEMA NOVA TEST SCREENING

As soon as we were able, we arranged the test screening, made our changes and provided the new version of the film.

MF SHORTS PROGRAM

It was a truly awesome experience to be featured in the shorts program along side some fantastic horror film makers, as well as meet the MonsterFest community.

WHATS NEXT?

We have been selected for the Russian International Horror Film Awards which is an absolute honor. We're so excited to see the line up as 2020 featured the likes of Cohen Day and Jarvier Botet!
